Protein Carrot Cake


Plain Jane carrot cake loaded with protein! Like most people like it, this cake is super moist! It satisfies a sweet tooth to the tee!









This recipe is so easy and takes about 8 mins to whip up!

















Ingredients:

Makes 1 layer cake


Dry:

50g oat flour

1,5 scoop vanilla protein whey (Carlo's Effect)

1 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp baking powder

pinch of salt


Wet:

10g Olive oil

4 tbsp water

60g pumpkin puree

50g finely grated carrot

half squeezed lemon

1 large egg

dash of milk

sweetener drops (to your taste)


Frosting:

80g Full cream plain yogurt/medium fat cream cheese

1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder


Instructions:

  1. Add the dry ingredients to a bowl and combine

  2. In a separate bowl, mix the wet ingredients together

  3. Combine the wet & dry ingredients

  4. Pour into a lined baking tray/cake tin

  5. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 12-15 mins
