Low Cal French Toast Bites


Spice up your boring bread slice with this great recipe! With only 87 calories per serving this recipe might change your idea about bread! Bread is not bad, bread is good, too good! And who doesn't like french toast? Come on!


Ingredients:


SERVES 8


4 slices kilojule controlled brown bread Albany

4 eggs

spray and cook

salt

100ml milk

1 mashed banana

*toppings honey & banana slices (not included in nutritional info below)



Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven at 180 degrees Celsius.

  2. Wisk all the eggs and salt together.

  3. Add milk and the mashed banana and wisk further.

  4. Slice up bread slices in blocks and throw into egg mixture.

  5. Spray a muffin pan with cook & spray.

  6. Take a tablespoon and transfer 2 tablespoons into each muffin pan section.

  7. Bake for 8-10 mins until golden brown.

  8. Top off with honey, cinnamon, syrup, butter... the possibilities are endless!
